DVD Synopsis and information:
Both
fifteen year old girls Ferris Whitney, played by Tatum O'Neal and Angel
Bright, played by Kristy McNichol find each other when they attend
summer camp together. The two girls are given bunks next to one another
in one of the camp's cabins. It is total hate at first sight when they
are seemingly complete opposites from each other. The very romantic and
educated Ferris comes from a well to do family and has a privileged
background. The street smart, smoking Angel is from the a more urban and
less polished upbringing. When these two find that they do in
fact share one striking common trait; they are both virgins. It just so
happens that they are the only ones in their age group that are in the
camp. With some serious pressure from their cabin dwellers, especially
the nasty
Cinder Carlson, the two go into a wager on who will have their
first, first time. By the end of the summer Ferris, is initially more
interested in chasing boys, sets her target on older camp coach Gary
Callahan. Angel finds her own guy she hones in on, Randy Adams, another
streetwise character that's going to the camp across the lake. Who will
win and lose it all? A cool movie where O'Neal and McNichol are a real
pair. Even with the adult content this movie reveals a sweetness among two young female friends. Little Darlings DVD is a fun and serious film at times.
Little Darlings 1980 movie DVD has a very fun and breezy script. With a great
script and actors this is a solid early 80s teen drama. McNichol and
O'Neal are terrific in this early 80s teen camp away / romance flick. This is a timeless film about adolescent teen girls growing into young women. A wonderful exampe when everything comes together for a small production. Little Darlings DVD is a timeless teen drama offering wonderful performances. Little Darlings Movie DVD is an excellent 80s drama with solid performances throughout.
