Chris Parker (played by Linda Blair) is only 14 Years old and she is already learning about the terrible realities of life for a runaway teenage girl in a harsh state run adolescent home.
Chris is a 14 year old runaway that has been placed in the care of the state. Chris is soon to find out that her existence means very little to most people. She is trapped in the uncaring bureaucracy of a state run adolescent care facility. This home for young teen girls is often brutal and Chris' treatment from her peers is full of intimidation and danger. Chris' own family has also been abusive and neglectful toward her. Chris will be hard pressed to meet someone that will be willing to hear her cried for help.
