Tim Matheson plays Clint, an everyday hard working guy that is married to a woman with less than stellar character. Jennifer Jason Leigh plays Clint's spouse and man does she have some dark intentions for her hubby. While Clint is trying to be the good husband his wife is screwing around on him with a doctor and that's her good side. She weaves an elaborate web to dispose of her husband, resulting in him being Buried Alive! Tim Matheson gives a magnificent performance as Clint; he plays both victim and dealer of vengeance perfectly. This is a fantastic Made for TV movie wonderfully directed by Frank Darabont. Buried Alive DVD 1990 is an excellent thriller with a powerful performance from Tim Matheson. Buried Alive DVD is a terrific thriller. Buried Alive Tim Matheson shows just how good and Made For TV thriller can be in the right hands.

Both movies look excellent when you upgrade the transfers to the next level. The upgraded versions are new transfers and are EXCELLENT!

This is one of Darabont's early efforts before he directed the amazing The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. The suspense and thrills will squeeze you ever so tighter with each new scene. An amazing thriller with great characters and pacing. Both films offer great suspense and thrills. Both are excellent made for TV thrillers. Treat yourself to these movie gems fulls of deceit and thrills, will be so glad that you did. These are both fine suspense thrillers from the 90s. Buried Alive 1990 DVD remains a great Made For TV Thriller with a solid sequel as well.

Both Films have had recent UK DVD releases, these are originally in PAL (Non US) format. I made the conversion to NTSC so they can be viewed in a USA/North American DVD or Blu Ray disc player.

Ally Sheedy gets a windfall inheritance that makes her husband begin to think of a scheme to get rid of his lovely wife, get her money and live happily ever after with a new and improved other woman. Of course nothing ever goes quite as planned when you cook up a recipe that means your wife will be Buried Alive 2 DVD II! Sheedy is excellent in this sequel, as is her supporting cast. A worthy follow to the made for TV classic - Buried Alive 1990.

Both Buried Alive DVD films are excellent thrillers from the 90s.
