Frances Bacon McCausland (played by Erin Chambers) is not your typical teenage girl. Frances has some rather scary issues that she needs help with. She decides to enlists the help of a mischievous and imaginary friend named Larry Houdini to assist her in dealing with a nasty prankster and bogeyman. The boogeyman seems to be the one who is framing her for his naughty and dastardly deeds at Frances' school and elsewhere. Frances and her special friend encounter the most spooky things and must figure out a way to clear her name.
