A terrifying tale of ancient darkness and evil unfolds as an anthropologist Dr. Mercer Boley, played by Cornel Wilde, and his daughter Diana, played by Jennifer Salt, battle to save our world from being taken over by a clan of hideous and malevolent monsters known only as gargoyles. These evil creatures that the Boley's have discovered are living in the south western United States desert. Gargoyles 1972 DVD is absolutely one of the best TV horror movies ever made.
This Gargoyles DVD release is from the uncut European theatrical version. Emmy Award-winning special makeup effects by Stan Winston (Jurrasic Park, Terminator 2) and Milt Rice (Invasion of the Body Snatchers- 1956, magic Sword).
Note: Mastered from longer European theatrical version. Bernie Casey may be hard to recognize as the leader of the Gargoyles DVD under all that makeup and also watch for Richard Moll as Goliath...one of the other gargoyles.
