Young Victor Frankenstein returns from medical school with a depraved taste for beautiful women and fiendish experiments. But when the doctor runs out of fresh body parts for his 'research,' he turns to murder to complete his gruesome new creation. Now, his monster has unleashed its own ghastly killing spree... and the true Horror Of Frankenstein has only just begun.
With Horror Of Frankenstein, Hammer sought to re-invent the classic legend with equal doses of bloody shocks and black humor. Ralph Bates (Dr. Jekyll & Sister Hyde) Veronica Carlson (Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed), Jon Finch (The Final Programme) and David Prowse (Darth Vader in Star Wars) co-star in this Hammer fan favorite, directed with wild tongue-in-cheek style by Jimmy Sangster (Lust For A Vampire, Fear In The Night).
