This is it, the ultimate 1950s Sci Fi movie experience! The original 20th century landmark science fiction epic thriller that preyed on the paranoia and red communist threat invading the Atomic Age of America in the 1950s.
A young American boy Jimmy Hunt, played by David MacLean, is abruptly awakened during a late night storm and is then witness to a flying saucer that has landed in the field just behind his house. No one believe Jimmy's remarkable story. Then the town's people begin to act strangle and one by one they are captured, transformed against their will and their mind's are now under the control of a sinister and intelligent beings from the planet Mars.
Invaders From Mars DVD was brilliantly created by the visionary set designer and director William Cameron Menzies (the set designer of Gone with the Wind and H.G. Wells' Things to Come) with a creepy and haunting musical score by the great Raoul Kraushaar. This is a Sci Fi extravaganza loaded with surreal imagery and scenery that is brought to horrifying realization in a Cinecolor world that is beyond our worst nightmares.
