Just Another Girl On The I.R.T.- the writing and directorial debut of
up-and-coming black woman filmmaker Leslie Harris- is a sharp, sassy
blend of comedy and drama in the tradition of Spike Lee, that speaks
with a fresh new voice all its own. Ariyan is really terrific in this
little African American film gem.
Johnson and the supporting cast give outstanding performances. Just Another Girl On The IRT DVD is an amazingly rich story about an African American young woman and her daily struggles to make it in life.
