Liz, the Made For TV Mini Series tells the fascinating life story of Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor. Sherilyn Fenn plays Elizabeth Taylor. Taylor's career started when her mother put her into acting as a young girl in the 40s. Her tumultuous career that was fulled with huge highs and deep lows is all on display in the wonderful adaptation of Liz's life story. The mini series covers her turbulent personal life, filled with affairs and marriages and these are chronicled in the film. The mini series is based on the book by C. David Heymann.
The story of Elizabeth Taylor's rise to stardom, began in L.A. in 1942. Liz's dominating mother decided that her daughter must become an actress, regardless of what others or Elizabeth herself thought. Talor was assisted by Hedda Hopper and lands a part in Lassie Come Home 1943 after which She became a female child sensation. During Taylor's life she had numerous loves and affairs, many marriages and subsequent divorces.
