Melissa
Sue Anderson stars as Vivian Sotherland, a beautiful, evil, teenage
witch. Vivian is used to getting anything she wants and doesn't
hesitate to save her boyfriend David (Patrick Cassidy) from failing in
school by murdering all his teachers. David on the other hand has
gotten tired of Vivian and tosses Vivian over for a new girl in school,
Robin Prentiss (Mary Beth McDonough). Completely willing to add Robin
to her list of victims, Vivian is shocked to discover Robin has powers
all her own. This is very cool early 80s made for TV horror flick.
Anderson and McDonough are terrific in this little Made for TV horror
gem. Very worthy to add to your collection.
Mellisa Sue Anderson gives a very chilling performance as Vivian in Midnight Offerings 1981 DVD, and is quite a departure from her prior good girl roles. Midnight Offerings DVD is a chilling made for TV occult horror film with a solid story, script, cast and direction. Anderson and McDonough have some scary and fun scenes together in Midnight Offerings DVD.
