For
fans of campy cult movies, this is a godsend. Toni Basil as a horny
vampire mom! Thomas Dolby as a vampire-hunting coffin salesman! Bo
Diddley as himself! Not to mention the simple fact that this is an 80's
rock Vampire Musical! A really fun rock and roll 80s style vampire
flick.
Rockula is about a male vampire who lost his lady love
centuries ago. She was killed by a pirate with a rhinestone peg leg,
wielding a large ham bone. Our hero, the vampire, did nothing to save
her. So he is now cursed to watch her be born again in another life, and
then watch her die, strangely enough by a pirate with a rhinestone peg
leg, wielding you-know-what. Now, in 1990, he has, he suspects, his last
chance to try to save her instead of watching get clubbed over and over
again down through the years. Oh, and he becomes a rock star in the
process. Rockula DVD is a fun rock musical vampire flick with some serious 80s vibe!
Rockula DVD is fun and an 80s vampire movie from a completely different perspective. Rockula DVD is a cool early 90s vampire flick with 80s style. Rockula DVD is fun silly and just plain vampire odd. This is a fantastic comedic vampire flick with 80s flare. Lots of fun and laughs to be had in this early 90s vampire comedy.
