So, what do you get when you mix fabulous Ford T Birds, wild Bermuda shorts, Gooey bubble-flip dos and amazing dancing? You've got Shag, The Movie! A zany comedic festival for all ages! Shag is super fun and easy breezy with a Southern flare. Lots of hip 80s style and dancing make this movie a summer ride of laughs and thrills. Cates, Fonda and the rest of the actors are terrific in this period film. Shag The Movie DVD continues to entertain. Shag DVD is terrific fun and a great period film about young women coming of age.
Carson, played by the adorable Phoebe Cates, is set to get hitched to the ultra respectable but way too boring Harley, played cutely by Tyrone Power Jr., that is until her best friends Melaina, played wonderfully by the hot Bridget Fonda, Pudge, played by Annabeth Gish, and Luanne, played by Page Hannah, whisk Carson off for a last fling beach mega party where all the chicks have the time of their young lives! A very charming yet bad boy throws Carson's plans for wifedom straight out the window. The bad boy's nerdy pal spins Pudge through some hyperbolic dance steps.
Super sultry Melaina also learns some sexy moves of her own from an Elvis look alike teen idol. Even prim and proper Luanne throws off her 60s style spectacles along with her innocence to the whirly wind! Shag The Movie DVD is a terrific romp into the 50s and a simpler time. Shag DVD is terrific 80s fun and a cool period movie. Shag DVD offers a nice slice of easy watching and fun characters.
