DVD Synopsis and information:
These
Two UK ladies are Two Girls Going Stark Raving Mod! Lynn Redgrave, from
Georgy Girl, and Rita Tushingham, from A Taste Of Honey, burst on to
the London scene and of course, have a Smashing Time! Carnaby Street
won't be that same after Lynn and her pal Rita start a "mod" journey to
seek out their dreams of success tons of excitement. In the very
beginning, they do manage to stick together and get by working as a pair
of kooky cocktail hostesses and dirty dish washers. However, their
fortunes change quickly and they separate while swinging into what they
thinks is fame, Redgrave as a recording singer and Tushingham as the TV
face of the 70s. It is not until they find each other again that they
truly understand that even Smashing Times must come to a close.
Smashing Time 1967 DVD is an excellent 60s British film, definitely fun and smashing!
Lynn Redgrave and Rita Tushingham are terrific in Smashing Time DVD.
