The April Fools DVD 1969: Jack Lemmon, Catherine Deneuve
DVD Synopsis and information:
The fist act of the film is primarily set at a hip party held by a shrewd executive Ted Gunther, played by Peter Lawford. It's here that Howard Brubaker, played brilliantly by Jack Lemmon, meets the Mr. Gunther's, Howard's boss) pretty young display wife Catherine, played magnificently by Catherine Deneuve. It just so happens that Howard is unhappily married to Phyllis, played excellently by Sally Kellerman, and that Catherine happens to be equally disappointed with in her marital situation with Ted. These two begin a plot to scurry off with each other by flying to Paris. Lemmon is really terrific in this role and the supporting cast is solid as well. A very interesting drama with some great scenes.
The April Fools DVD is a terrific drama from the late 60s with Jack Lemmon.
