DVD Synopsis and information:
Contains
the full Mini-series on 2 Discs. Mario Puzo is perhaps best known for
his Godfather saga. The Last Don is certainly in the same vein of work
with a slightly more modern approach as it applies to organized crime
with Italian heritage. Aiello plays the brutal Don Clericuzio, who built
his legacy on death, crime and racketeering. His daughter is courted
and eventually marries into Clericuzio's arch rival family. From there a
bloody mob war begins and will not end until many have paid the final
price. An excellent story and cast. A great made for TV movie about the
old school Italian crime syndicate. This is a fascinating take on the
mob, a must won for mob and mafia movie fans alike. Aiello is fantastic in this Made For TV Production.
The Last Don DVD is a terrific made for TV mini series event.
