Timerider DVD 1982: Fred Ward, Peter Coyote
DVD Synopsis and information: Timerider DVD is a definite winner of a Sci Fi and Western concoction. A
winning off road racer Lyle, played by Fred Ward, is experimentally
transported 100 years in the past. A gang of thugs then steals Lyle's
motorcycle and then Lyle has to get his bike back while staying a step
ahead of them and all the while placating to the wants of Belinda
Bower's female outlaw character. Strap in for a wild ride when a western
meets back to the future. Fred Ward, Peter Coyote and Belinda Bower all
give solid performances. This is a fun and all but forgotten 80s time
travel movie that should be in any 80s Sci Fi collector's stable.
Timerider DVD continues to entertain 3 decades after its release. Timerider DVD is an excellent Sci Fi western from the early 80s. This is an excellent action adventure film from the early 80s. A fun and cool Sci Fi 80s romp with a western vibe and some time travel mixed in.
