DVD Synopsis and information:
Singer James Taylor and Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys star in what might be the best road movie ever made. James Taylor as Driver and Dennis Wilson as Mechanic are two car obsessive men that head east from Los Angeles in a primer painted 1955 Chevy looking for car races along the road. The two end up racing against G.T.O. (Warren Oates) a nervous man full of tall tales going through his own blend of mid-life crisis. They challenge him to a cross country race for ownership of the losers car. The film is visually stunning and a triumph for both Taylor and Wilson in their only acting roles. This is one of the best and most under rated American road trip movies from the 70s.
